What Does It Do & How Does It Work?
The radar monitor accurately measures the fuel level in your tank and sends the data straight to your app, so you always know how much fuel you have. It works by sending a radar signal onto the fuel surface and measuring the return time to calculate the level inside tanks up to 4m high. Powered by a long-life battery, it provides reliable readings for up to 5 years and is unaffected by temperature, dust, vapour, or humidity.
How Do I Install It?
There’s no need to drill into your tank to fit the monitor. It can be installed using either a simple adhesive base or by securing it into an existing gauge opening. The process is quick and completely DIY, so you don’t need to wait for an engineer. With a battery life of up to 5 years, it also requires very little maintenance once in place. What type of container can the monitor be installed on?
The monitor is suitable for all types of plastic container up to 3.5m in height. Metal tanks must come equipped with a gauge hole for the monitor to access container’s interior.
How accurate is the monitor?
The accuracy of the monitor is ±5mm.
I have a few tanks connected by pipes, will the monitor still work in this scenario?
Yes, the monitor can be used with multiple piped tanks, provided the oil level drops evenly across all tanks. Installation is the same as with a single tank. Simply place the monitor on one of them and you can monitor the level.
